Terms of Use

Last updated 30 July 2026 · This is the end user licence agreement (EULA) for the Nail AI iPhone app.

These terms are an agreement between you and Ali Dinç ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Nail AI, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Nail AI is

Nail AI lets you photograph your nails and receive an automated assessment — a health score, observations about things like cuticle condition, nail bed colour and surface texture, plus general care guidance and nail style suggestions. It saves your scans so you can track changes over time.

It is a consumer wellness and cosmetic tool. It is not a substitute for examination by a doctor, dermatologist or any other qualified professional.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf.

3. Your account

You can use Nail AI as a guest or with a registered account. Either way you are responsible for activity that happens through it, and for keeping your login details to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app. Deleting your account removes your scans and the stored images with them, and this cannot be undone.

4. Free scans and subscriptions

Nail AI includes three free scans. After that, continued scanning requires Nail AI Premium, which unlocks unlimited scans and your full progress history.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may differ in your local currency and by region, including tax. The price shown in the app at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.

5. Payment, renewal and refunds

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You manage and cancel it in your Apple Account settings, not in the app — Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription to that same content.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple's terms, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly.
• We may change prices. Changes never apply to a period you have already paid for, and where the law requires it we will notify you in advance.

6. Your photos and content

Your photos remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to run the service for you: to store your images, process them to produce your analysis, and show your history back to you. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

You confirm the photos you upload are of your own hands, or that you have permission from the person whose hands they are.

How your photos are handled technically — including that camera metadata is stripped on your device and that your identity is not sent with the image — is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. About the AI results

Results are produced by an automated vision model. They are estimates, not facts. The model can misread an image, miss something important, or report something that isn't there. Lighting, polish, image quality and skin tone can all affect what it sees.

Treat every result as a prompt to look more closely yourself — not as a conclusion. Scores are for tracking change over time; they are not clinical measurements and are not comparable to anyone else's.

8. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Upload photos that aren't nails, or that are unlawful, obscene or someone else's without permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, or try to bypass the free scan limit or paywall.
• Use automated means to access the service, or overload our infrastructure.
• Resell, redistribute or present the analysis as a professional or medical opinion.

9. Our intellectual property

The app, its name, design, content and code belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nail AI on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. Nothing else is granted.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Nail AI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, or if we need to for legal or security reasons. If we terminate your account without cause while you hold a paid subscription, you may seek a pro-rata refund through Apple.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that results will be accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under the consumer law of your country, and nothing here overrides them.

12. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Nail AI. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the Eskişehir Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your own country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings where you live. Consumers in Türkiye may also apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or Consumer Court in their own district, up to the monetary limits set each year.

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use Nail AI after a change means you accept the updated terms.
